Mission Fed and the San Diego Food Bank: Partnering for a Hunger-Free Future
At Mission Fed, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank to support the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program. This vital program provides local children with nutritious food over the weekend when school meals are unavailable. Together, we’re working to build a brighter, healthier future for San Diego’s children.
How We’re Making a Difference
This year’s campaign raised $228,000—24% more than last year—including $161,000 generously donated by our members. These funds will help provide nearly 28,500 backpacks of nutritious food for children to take home on weekends, when free school meals aren’t available.
